Rays of Grace Academy proudly celebrates one of its assistant coaches, Morgan Samuels Kibuuka, after successfully guiding Mamba Kakoboza clan to the finals of the prestigious Bika Bya Baganda Football Tournament.
Morgan Samuels Kibuuka, who serves as the head coach of Mamba Kakoboza, achieved the milestone on Sunday 31st May 2026 after his side edged Kkobe clan by a 1-0 scoreline in the semi-final played at the tournament grounds. The decisive goal was scored by Samuel Nsubuga, sending Mamba Kakoboza into the much-anticipated final.
Mamba Kakoboza will now face Nkima clan in the final slated for Saturday 6th June 2026 at Muteesa II Stadium, Wankulukuku.
For starters, the Bika Bya Baganda tournament is one of Buganda Kingdom’s oldest and most respected cultural sporting competitions. Started in 1950, the tournament is exclusively played by clans within Buganda Kingdom with the aim of fostering unity, promoting talent development and providing entertainment to the subjects of the Kabaka.
Coach Morgan Samuels Kibuuka is a CAF C Licensed coach and currently serves as assistant coach at Rays of Grace Academy where he continues to play a key role in youth player development.
